MOTHER & DAUGHTER SUMMER YOGA - Tuesday 16 June - 6pm to 7.45pm
Led by Hawthorn Wellbeing, this female-focused workshop is all about creativity and connection: set in the beautiful backdrop of The Normans.
Designed for girls aged 8-12 years - together with their mum or female carer - the workshop will take inspiration from the summer season.
The evening will begin outside (weather willing!) with a female ‘Opening Circle’, inspired by nature and the moon cycle.
Next will be a guided, seasonally-inspired meditation, a story-led yoga flow, plenty of partnered poses between mum and daughter and, finally, a Yoga Nidra, beneath blankets and by candlelight. (Plus a moment of pause and a sweet treat for the girls.)
Weather willing we will combine outdoor and indoor practice, utilising the sun-soaked Courtyard and our fairy-lit Threshing Barn or cosy Stables Bar. Please dress appropriately for climate, comfort and movement.
No prior yoga experience is needed: this is a perfect opportunity for budding yogis to see what yoga is all about (and will prove a relaxing and restorative evening for more seasoned yogis.)
About the practitioner: Amy of Hawthorn Wellbeing has offered mindfulness, yoga, coming-of-age circles, community workshops and retreats in Yorkshire since 2018.
Before You Book!
Please note the following handy points…
This session is priced £40 PER PAIR: Purchase one place and your payment is valid for one Mother and one Daughter.
